Biking
Question type: Geography and scenery I guess

How I've researched it: Maps and topography of the Olympic Penisula over various websites

My query: How plausible is it for someone to get around Forks with a bicycle? By this I mean mostly going to school and to friends' (he's not going to go to Seattle).

Second: can this same someone easily go to the beach and La Push from Forks on bicyle? If yes, how long does/would it take?

(sorry dear Mod, I don't know what tag to use there)

you could, but its pretty uncommon. most people get a ride from someone else or take the bus.

Just to add, riding a bike in the pacific northwest in the summer is one thing. Riding a bike in the winter, in the rain, in the cold, and through the occasional snowfall--that requires a special level of dedication. And lots of Gortex.

And Forks to LaPush is just under 15 miles. It took me about 20 min to drive when I visited. But it wasn't excessively hilly in my recollection, so it would be a long bike ride, but not impossible.
